In 2011, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum underwent a rebrand. We helped update their logo to something more usable and create a brand guide that different departments could follow to project a consistent image. Since the library is located on the campus of Texas A&M University, we used Aggie Maroon as well as navy and grey from the University’s brand colors. The other colors were inspired by Air Force One and the National Archives and Records Administration’s recent rebrand, helping to tie this organization to all those with which it shares close ties. The rebrand also included typeface selection and the creation of standard business cards, letter heads, stationery and apparel. We carried the brand throughout the advertising for annual and special events, attracting visitors to the library, web banners, email graphics and street banners.
