designer, letterer, photographer, art director, blogger
Savannah is a designer and photographer who’s been using a camera almost since before she could hold one. Her tools may have changed (she started with finger paints and Fisher Price and has mostly switched to Illustrator and Canon), but her spirit of playful exploration remains.
She loves doggies, growing her collection of owls and over-committing. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at Disneyland reduces her to a giddy giggling mess who’s more likely to cartwheel out of the park than walk. She thrives under pressure and loves to stare a good deadline right in the eyes.
When she’s not checking white balance, “testing” new nibs or tweaking a bezier curve, savannah enjoys trying to beat Brandon at Mario and Sonic at the Olympics on the Wii, collecting an enthusiastic amount of succulents and sewing up a storm on her Singer.
Savannah has a MS Marketing and BS Visual Studies from Texas A&M University – College Station.
videographer, photographer, technical director
Brandon is a problem solver and Rad Owl’s resident geek. No challenge is too large or too little – whether that means figuring out how best to arrange stuff on the walls, how to fix up the ‘company bicycles,’ or how to write some new code that will make our work easier.
He has a voracious appetite for film, books, and music, as evidenced by our rapidly-decreasing shelf space and his rapidly increasing attempts to make the most out of Los Angeles’ movie theaters, libraries and record shops.
When he’s not charting his bicycle commute times, building crude deck furniture, or longboarding with the intern, Brandon enjoys defending his office Mario Kart title, playing around with Linux installs, and finding the optimal reading spot.
Brandon has a MS Visualization and BS Computer Science from Texas A&M University – College Station.
ALBERT “THE DOGGIE” JARRATT
intern, chief of play, comedian
Albert joined Rad Owl in July 2013 as an intern. His duties include retrieving documents from the printer, licking envelopes and faithfully watching out the window and alerting the staff of any mail or parcel deliveries.
He loves bright sunshine, mid-70-degrees weather, inventing crazy sleeping positions, developing and sharing his strong musical taste and generally providing comedic relief in one way or another.
When he’s not intensely chasing lizards on the back deck, watching TV or building his reputation as clown of the block, Albert enjoys de-fuzzing tennis balls and devouring bones with his master chewing skills.
Albert is still working on his degree.
